A few weeks ago, we were delighted to bring home our second Standarbred gelding, retired from racing days and in need of a new life and a loving home. The herd gathered, eager to meet their new friend, as we unloaded “the new guy” from the trailer.

October 1st was a day of beautiful weather, fantastic music, delicious food and great fun at Cornstock 2011, a charity music festival that benefited Achaius Ranch. Last week was our most exciting week so far on the ranch. We are thrilled to announce that all the hard work we’ve done (so far) preparing the place has paid off: we have brought home our first two rescue horses!
