Our Board
Rodney McCulloh
is a Founder and President of Achaius Ranch. He is an owner and Principal of RTM Consultants, Inc., in Indianapolis, a fire protection and building code consulting firm. Rodney’s interaction with horses generally includes kissing them on the nose and paying more than he bargained for for their upkeep. He loves dogs and has a black Labrador Retriever (his favorite breed), who enjoys helping with the ranch chores and walking in the woods.
Nicole Wilson
is a founder and our Managing Director. Nicole holds a Bachelors in General Studies and a Minor in Business from IUPUI. She is an equine specialist and equine-assisted learning facilitator, and manages all of our volunteers, ranch animals and grounds. She is married to her wonderful husband Sam Wilson and together they are attempting to tame their four free-range children!
Elisha McCulloh, LCSW
is a founder and the Executive Director at Achaius Ranch. She holds a Masters in Social Work degree from Indiana University. Elisha has provided therapy for individuals and couples, supervised workers from a local social services agency, as well as graduate student interns at Achaius Ranch. Fascinated by how God created our brains and nervous systems, Elisha incorporates trauma-informed methods for helping others, such as ecotherapy, equine-assisted EMDR, and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT). Elisha and Rodney McCulloh have have raised three children together (including Nicole), who have blessed them with 10 grandchildren.
Sam Wilson
Founder, holds a bachelors degree from IUPUI in the School of Informatics and New Media and is a Product Manager at The Finish Line. He is the Ranch’s Media Specialist and part time landscaper. Sam is married to Nicole Wilson.
Susan Belt
Susan, our secretary/treasurer, is an experiential learning professional and science teacher. At Indiana University, she received her bachelor’s degree in middle school education and her master’s degree in outdoor recreation resource management focusing on adventure therapy and ecology. Susan has helped the ranch receive grants to allow youth and adults to come to the ranch for healing, like she received after her husband’s fatal heart attack.
